Registered Kinder Goats
Kinder goats are the only true dual purpose breed. The milk of Kinder goats has a high butterfat content, sometimes having more than seven percent butterfat. Despite being a small to medium sized breed, the Kinder goats are generally more muscular than a full size dairy goat. And they often yield dressing percentages over 60 percent. Grand Champion Roaster Chickens
We first began growing Roasters in 2019. Our first batch yielded the Grand Champion Roaster at the Smith Country Junior Livestock Show. Since then, we've only continued to improve our methods. Our chickens have large, tender breasts with well proportioned legs. The feet make excellent stock/bone broth.
Ethically Raised Hogs
We are proud to raise heritage cross breeds here at the farm. They are happy & fat piggies. We feed them locally milled grain & local hay, plus all the scraps they will eat. They get regular hose showers that they love to play in, and snout around in grass & hay that is freshened weekly. Once processed, we have found the meat full of rich flavor. The bacon is fantastic! We sell herd shares with each batch.
